What you type stays on your device

The tools are JavaScript that runs in your browser. Text you paste, files you drop and numbers you enter are processed on your own machine and are never sent to us. We do not receive them, so we cannot store, read, sell or lose them.

You do not have to take that on trust. Open the network tab in your browser's developer tools, use any tool on the site, and watch that no request carries your input. Disconnect from the network after a page has loaded and the tool still works.

No accounts, no cookies, no analytics

There is nothing to sign up for and no way to log in. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising, and no tracking pixels, so no profile of you is built here or anywhere else.

Fonts, styles and scripts are all served from this domain. Nothing on a page reaches out to another company, so no third party learns which pages you opened.

What the host can see

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, its edge servers necessarily see the requests needed to send you a page: your IP address, the URL, the time and your browser's user agent string. That is a property of how the web works rather than a choice we made, and it happens before any of our code runs. We do not add analytics on top of it, and we do not receive or keep those logs ourselves. Cloudflare's own privacy documentation covers what it retains.

Embedded tools

Tools can be embedded in other sites through an iframe. An embedded tool behaves exactly as it does here: it runs in the reader's browser, and their input reaches neither the site hosting the frame nor us. The page around the frame is not ours, so whatever that site does is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.

Terms of use

• The tools are free to use, for anything, including commercial work. No attribution is required, though a link is welcome.
• They come with no warranty. Check anything that matters. Several tools deal with money, health, construction or legal formats, and none of them is professional advice.
• Where a tool estimates rather than calculates, its page says so and explains the assumptions. Read that before relying on a number.
• We are not liable for decisions made from a tool's output. If a result would be expensive to get wrong, verify it against the standard cited on the page.
• Please do not hammer the site with automated requests. Everything runs client side, so scraping the pages gains you nothing that using them does not.
